What the basis means for you
Not published. This is the first thing to ask, because it can double or halve what the position costs you.
Terms and conditions
4–6 weeks minimum, mid-May to mid-September. Campsite, uniform and a small subsistence payment. Must be 18+ and a US citizen. Site amenities vary widely — some host sites have electricity, some have none at all.
Everything on this page comes from the state's own published material or, where marked on the main table, from third-party reporting. We have not verified it first-hand. Terms change between seasons and individual parks set their own variations, so confirm with the park before you commit.
Work out what it's worth
A free site isn't free if it costs you 40 hours a week. Offer Check turns the hours, the site and any cash into an effective hourly rate you can compare against a paid job.
